In a Nut Shell: Google+ The World
January 25th, 2012 by adminGoogle’s social networking platform, Google+, is violently growing, gracing the 62,000,000 user mark just days ago. Estimates have shown that number is continuing to grow by 625,000 fresh users daily. Paul Allen, founder of Ancestry.com, writes about explanations for the violent increase, “It may be the holidays, the TV commercials, the Android 4 signups, celebrity and brand appeal, or positive word of mouth or a combination of all these factors, but there is no question that the number of new users signing up for Google+ each day has accelerated markedly in the past several weeks.” Though they still haven’t topped their week end high of 15 million hits on September 24, they are getting closer and closer, hitting 9.4 million at the end of the week of December 17. Going right along with this increase, the amount of usersis expected to top 100 million near the close of February, 200 million by the beginning of August, and then nearly 300 million by the end of next year.
